maintenant pour rattrapper le niveau il faudrait au moins 5 chansons avec les Gnawa, 5 chansons avec Ali Farka (ça va etre dur) et 5 chansons avec Justiiiiiin au blues/desert.... PAS MOINS! |

A raison de 23min15s par concert, tu m'excuseras, mais j'ai vraiment envie de dire pauv' papy depuis le début de la tournée.
C'est très exactement ce que je trouve d'emmerdant pour lui et pour la suite.
Déjà avec les SS, au fur et à mesure ça retrécissait, même s'il se donnait à fond.
Mais là, il n'a même pas à se donner à fond (aucune envolée, pas de puissance, pas de traversée de la scène en long en large et en travers... nécessaires à ce qu'il chante) et en plus, si on s'amuse à compter combien de temps il chante vraiment par concert... je suis presque sûr que son temps de chant est infime et même inférieur à celui de Krauss.
Et si le concert de l'O2 était la dernière fois où on le voyait sur scène faire le show durablement ? Et si le fait de pouvoir encaisser une tournée de 1h30-2h de concert (rock) était le vrai frein (inavouable, inavoué ?) à une reformation ?

Ben oui, mais t'es marrant, Jack: un second album RP-AK dans les tuyaux, une participation sur celui de Buddy Miller, une sur celui de Scott Matthews (en backing vocals!)... il ne te donne pas envie de t'enfermer dans ta cave, Bob, là? Moi si...

... le 2ème album, ça fait longtemps qu'il en parle. Il me semble que déjà juste après l'O2, il fait des déclarations en ce sens.
C'est pas trop gênant (à part au niveau artistique  ) tant qu'il ne parle pas de tournée...
Les enregistrements d'albums (en tout cas avec Krauss) ou les participations sur ceux des autres, c'est pas ce qui prend le plus de temps. |

Pour le second album, effectivement, Plant, Krauss et T-Bone en parlent ouvertement dans la plupart de leurs interviews ces derniers mois.
Pour Budy Miller, je fais référence à un titre (What You Gonna Do Leroy) qu'il a enregistré avec Robert pendant la tournée en juillet, qu'ils ont interprété tous les deux lors des Americana Music Awards en septembre (la video doit encore traîner sur youtube) et qui devrait figurer, dixit la maison de disque, sur le prochain album de Buddy Miller.
Pour Scott Matthews, c'était dans le dernier Q Magazine (ou Mojo...).
